Celia Turley

Celia is the Community & Engagement Producer at St Annes House.

Her work is focussed on supporting community led programming and engaging with local and creative communities to bring ideas to life, including free resident-led activities in the community living room.

Prior to working at St Annes House, Celia has worked at the intersections of community and cultural organising, delivering creative public programmes, artist commissions, youth and migrant solidarity spaces.

The consistent thread across her diverse work history is an interest in how collaborative creative practice can imagine new possibilities for social justice, collective care, transformation and repair.

Celia is a trained and practising community conflict mediator and a Non-Executive Director at Portland’s socially and environmentally engaged arts organisation, b-side.

In 2025 she was selected as a Churchill Fellow, and will be visiting the US and Europe to explore how socially engaged artistic practice can support migrant justice, building cultures of radical hospitality to strengthen refugee belonging in the UK.

Get in touch with Celia@bricksbristol.org if you are an artist, community member or potential partner who would like to discuss a project idea to support, strengthen and connect with our local community
