Political Poster Printing with Careful Now Collective

Sunday 19th Sept 2021, 11 to 4pm

This workshop has been postponed – if you are interested in taking part email georgia@bricksbristol.org with the heading ‘Bricks Young Creatives’

St Anne’s House, Brislington, Bristol BS4 4AB

Interested in poster design with a political angle?

Join Careful Now Collective as they teach how creative methods can give a voice to a cause.

In this workshop we will make replica posters from the French Protests ’68 using wood-carving & silkscreen methods. We’ll discuss a bit of the history of ‘68 and some modern similarities & differences. We’ll make prints for you to take home with you & some techniques for making posters at home.

‘[The posters’] rightful place is in the centres of conflict, that is to say, in the streets and on the walls of the factories’
