Costume & Storytelling with Buoys Buoys Buoys

Do you like creating costumes?

On Saturday 11th Sept Buoys Buoys Buoys shared the ways he uses heritage & identity in his creative processes.

As a group, we explored what it means to celebrate who you are or where you come from, & how through costume & ritual, our ancestors kept our histories alive. Working together we built our own contemporary folk costumes & brought them to life in an afternoon of otherworldly storytelling!

Held at the Creative & Community hub, St Anne’s House – these free masterclasses are open to 16-20 year old’s in the surrounding areas! No experience is needed, curiosity is encouraged.

About

Buoys Buoys Buoys is a Swansea-born bard on a mission to build joyous spectacles; examining the intersection of working class Welsh folk culture, magic, and queer masculinity.

Drawing from the carnivalesque and camp, he’s retelling mythologies through music & public play.
