Jo Ball
Jo Ball is an artist and gardener based in Bristol. Her studio work includes drawing, object-making, books and screenprints. Her practice also includes participatory projects that connect people to plants, places and each other.
Currently she is Associate Artist with Grizedale Arts where she is developing the Crake Valley Recipe Project – working with local communities to collect recipes, gardening tips and memories about food and growing.

Participatory projects

Crake Valley Recipe Project Participatory project with local community in Coniston and surrounding Crake Valley Area to gather recipes, gardening tips, and reminiscences. Working as Associate Artist with Grizedale Arts.

Magic Wand Magic Wand for Studio Meraki Art Kits. Creative packs designed by artists sent out every week to 200 to kids in the local area who have reduces access to art materials and activities during during lockdown.
