**postponed** Well Rounded Film Screening + Plus Size Clothing Swap with Queer Vision

As part of Bristol Pride, Queer Vision Film Festival are pleased to present a day of film, discussion, and clothes.

Sunday 26 June, 2 – 4.30pm, St Anne’s House. (unfortunately this event has been postponed until future notice)

What’s happening?

A Film Screening of WELL ROUNDED by Director, Shana Myara:

Join us at St Anne’s House for a film viewing of the documentary WELL ROUNDED. An edgy, hilarious, unapologetically raunchy, and sometimes tear jerking viewing. WELL ROUNDED brings you your new super queer XXXL racialized BFFs in comedy, fashion, health and research, to help combat those pesky systemic fatphobias that threaten to make you hate yourself. When actually, you are PLENTY amazing, just as you are!

Blending gorgeous interviews with dreamy animation, director of WELL ROUNDED, Shana Myara assembles personal stories from a diverse, captivating cast to offer BIG inspiration, especially for those of us who don’t often see our BIPOC, LGBT+, disabled and/or fat selves celebrated on screen.

Discussion of the film and a unique clothes swap:

During the event, there will be tea, coffee and cake available, plus a post screening discussion around the film with the team from Queer Vision and a chance to rummage the rails!

We encourage you to bring some of your personal garms that aren’t getting enough love for our plus size 16+/L+ clothes swap! It’s a perfect opportunity to pick up some new pieces for your summer wardobe too. (we encourage you to bring your clothes to the team before the film screening so they can hang and organise the swap!)
