EBC day school presents: Stuff Done

An exhibition showcasing the years work from the artists.

Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 16 – 25 June, 12 – 5pm, St Anne’s House.

The first year of East Bristol Contemporary’s alternative art education programme Day School is drawing to a close, and the class of 2022 invite you to come and see what they’ve been working on.

Whilst inhabiting their shared studio space at St Anne’s House, they’ve taken part in a variety of workshops from invited artists from across the country, worked on collaborative projects for Curio project space and Art Licks magazine, and eaten many, many, meal deals from the Co-op down the road.

This show at St Anne’s House brings together the diverse practices of the inaugural cohort, which span painting, sculpture, printmaking, moving image, typography, illustration, tufting and more, to show off some of the stuff that they’ve done in the last twelve months.

Featuring contributions from Heather Christie, Kelsey Cruz-Martin, Ama Dogbe, Zuzanna Drozynska, Dan Guthrie, Lorelei Hacking, Esther Hesketh, Esme Hodes, Jamie Lee, Ash Kayser, Olivia Parr and Sarah Newell.

OPENING NIGHT – 16th June, 6 – 9pm

It’s the opening night! Come chit the chat, drink the drinks and see the stuff that we’ve done.

WORKSHOP DAY – 18th June, 12 – 5pm

Throughout the afternoon, some of the Day School members will be running free workshops for the general public.

Come and collaborate with Collage Club on tour (from upstairs) with Hev and Saz; help Dan and Ama make the Day School end of year leaver’s video as part of a collaborative film project; and learn the basics of pewter casting with Es and Kelsey – limited number of spaces for that last one so book here.
