Shock Corridor with Richard Allen
Artist in residence for RELAY project space at St Anne’s House.

Richard Allen is spending November – mid December working with the architecture of St Anne’s House to create an ambitious sound installation inspired by Frank Hoyle’s 1957 science fiction novel The Black Cloud, the dystopian themes feeling particularly poignant in the context of our climate emergency.
On 18 November Richard Allen gave a talk at St Anne’s House, to discuss his previous work, his research, his practice as well as detailed context behind the new exhibition Shock Corridor.
