The St Annes Museum of Miscellaneous Things

Artist and St Annes resident David Alesworth has been commissioned through a micro commission open call to produce his participatory artwork St Annes Museum of Miscellaneous Things.

The St.Annes Museum of Miscellaneous Things now invites the submission of artifacts for the collection. These should represent your ideas about life in St.Annes, from bits of local history to garden “finds”, in fact objects of very many kinds. A precious fallen leaf, found papers, historical photographs, Newspaper cuttings and wondrous objects of all sorts.

These will all be considered for inclusion in the Museum and local displays. We ask that a short story should accompany each submission (not more than 50 words) along with a name, a title, the object’s found location and the date. We will then create an artifact label for your submission.

Ways to Participate:

Collect a bag with the submission form from the local CoOp store at Wyatts view. Bag up your small object, fill in the submission form and drop this back to the Co-Op.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone’s submissions
